Mapping the Digital Divide:
How Internet Usage Shapes Society
Visual Design | Data Analysis | Animation | Research
This data visualization project explores how internet has transformed our society, shaping communication, economies, and daily life.
By comparing data on household internet access, broadband adoption, daily usage among young adults, and internet as a news source, I categorized key insights. Using the LATCH method, I organized data by geography (position), internet penetration (size), usage categories (color), and social media time (hue), ultimately crafting a visual narrative in a relevant artistic style.
